A dye works founded in 1869 in the port town of Ichikikushikino, Kagoshima. Specializing in shirushi-zome resist dyeing, it hand-dyes fishing flags and Boys' Day banners, and now brings the craft into everyday life with its retail brand Kamezomeya.
