Enjoy a One-of-a-Kind Pattern

Each pen is turned and finished at the time of your order, so every piece is slightly different. The pattern cannot be chosen; please enjoy it as a pen that is truly the only one in the world.

The acrylic barrel is durable and keeps its beautiful color and gloss. It feels smooth to the touch and fits naturally in the hand. Such work requires great skill and experience that machine production can never reproduce, and only a handful of craftsmen in the world can do it.

A Rare Craftsman's Skill

The maker is Mr. Keizo Onishi, who runs the writing-instrument workshop Onishi Seisakusho in Higashi-Osaka, a town known for its manufacturing. Since becoming a fountain pen craftsman at the age of 15, he has devoted more than 65 years to making fountain pens and ballpoint pens.

Using specialized tools that demand years of know-how, almost every step is done by Mr. Onishi's own hands. It is said that he may be the only craftsman still hand-making acrylic fountain pens today, and he has even received requests from France that rely on his skills.

A Nib for Delicate Expression

The nib is a German Schmidt iridium-tipped nib, known for its smooth writing feel. Its gentle flex makes it easy to add variation to your strokes. The F (fine) nib suits a wide range of uses such as letters and planners, and is also recommended for first-time fountain pen users.

In an age when we write by hand less and less, enjoy the pleasure of putting your thoughts on paper with a truly special pen.
