About hmny
hmny is a leather goods brand from Higashikagawa, Kagawa, Japan’s leading leather-glove region. It was born in 2006 when Ruboa, a leather-glove maker founded in 1961, teamed up with a designer and a producer. Every piece is cut and sewn in Japan by craftspeople trained in glove making, a craft that demands precise material choice, cutting and sewing.
1. One wallet for bills, coins and cards
Some people don’t like carrying a wallet and a coin purse separately, yet want something compact. This wallet answers that simple wish: coins go in the zip pocket inside, bills wrap around it, and three pockets hold your cards.
2. Simple shape, colors with character
The structure and design are kept simple, so the shape never gets old. Express yourself through the color.
3. Compact size
About 11.5 × 9 cm and only 1.5 cm thick when empty.
Specifications
- Size: approx. W 11.5 × H 9 × D 1.5 cm when empty (4.5 × 3.5 × 0.6 in)
- Zip coin pocket, bill compartment, 3 card pockets
- Material: water-repellent cowhide
- Made in Japan (Higashikagawa, Kagawa)
Care
- The cowhide is water-repellent, but if it gets wet, wipe it with a dry cloth and let it dry naturally in the shade.
- Natural leather may show small marks, wrinkles or variations in color; these are part of each piece’s character.
- The leather softens and develops a richer look as you use it.
