About Kuroda
Kuroda (クロダ) is a glove maker founded more than 40 years ago in Higashikagawa, Kagawa, the town that makes around 90% of all gloves produced in Japan. Many well-known fashion brands come to Kuroda when they want gloves made, and its cutting and sewing skills are regarded as among the best in the region. These are Kuroda's own-brand gloves.
1. The skill behind every pair
Glove sewing is notoriously difficult: combining different materials, stitching tiny fingertips, and the final shaping that makes a glove fit the hand. Kuroda’s quality rests on experienced craftsmen, dedicated cutters and sewers, and well-kept machines and cutting dies.

2. Pigskin and lambskin together
The back of the hand is pigskin, breathable and resistant to abrasion, which ages beautifully with use. The palm and finger gussets are lambskin, soft and supple, so the glove feels as if it clings to your hand.

3. Rib knit cuff and micro fleece
A rib knit cuff fits snugly at the wrist to keep the wind out, and a micro fleece lining keeps your hands warm. Conductive leather on the palm side of the thumb and index finger lets you use your smartphone with the gloves on.

Made to last
Gloves made in Japan's glove capital are built with expert sewing, so they last far longer than ordinary gloves, and the leather softens and molds to your hands the more you wear them. A pair to keep for many winters, and a wonderful gift.
