About EAtoCO

EAtoCO (EAトCO, pronounced "ii-toko," a play on "a good spot") is a kitchen-tool brand from Yoshikawa Co., Ltd. in Sanjo, Niigata, part of Tsubame-Sanjo, Japan's best-known center of metalworking. The name joins EAT and COOK: tools designed to move freely between the kitchen and the dining table, made in Japan with the precision the region is known for.

1. Thoughtful details

The stainless lid and resin tray fit closely together, keeping odors in the fridge from transferring to the butter. The underside of the tray has a non-slip finish, and it pairs perfectly with the Nulu butter knife from the same brand.

2. Tsubame-Sanjo stainless steel

Made with the precision Tsubame-Sanjo is known for. Small touches, like the offset handle that makes the lid easy to lift, show the craft.
