About EAtoCO

EAtoCO (EAトCO, pronounced "ii-toko," a play on "a good spot") is a kitchen-tool brand from Yoshikawa Co., Ltd. in Sanjo, Niigata, part of Tsubame-Sanjo, Japan's best-known center of metalworking. The name joins EAT and COOK: tools designed to move freely between the kitchen and the dining table, made in Japan with the precision the region is known for.

1. Tips that meet perfectly

What matters most in tongs is that they are easy to grip and close cleanly. Made with the precision of Tsubame-Sanjo metalworking, the tips of Hasam S meet exactly, so they are good at picking up and serving small portions.

2. Tips stay off the table

Set them down and the tips stay lifted off the surface, so you never wonder where to put them during a meal.

3. Scoop or pinch

Turn them around to scoop, or use the tips to pick up small pieces. A different kind of handy from the regular-size Hasam.
