A casual leaf design in traditional tin

About Osaka Suzuki
Osaka Suzuki (大阪錫器) was founded in Osaka in 1949 and today produces nearly all of Osaka Naniwa Suzuki (Osaka tinware), a designated Traditional Craft of Japan with more than 300 years of history. Its craftspeople, including nationally certified traditional craftsmen, cast, turn and finish every piece by hand.
1. Tin makes drinks taste better
The biggest appeal of a tin tumbler is that drinks taste better from it. Tin conducts heat so well that pouring in cold beer or sake chills the cup right away. For an even colder drink, put it in the fridge for a little while before use.
2. Rounder, smoother flavor
Sake lovers often say "tin cups are best." Tin is said to purify water and soften the taste of drinks; in old China, tin was sunk into wells to keep the water clean. It is completely safe, and because it does not rust, break or deteriorate, it is made for long, everyday use.
3. Happa: a leaf pattern for everyone
Happa means "leaf." The leaf design is unusually casual for Osaka Suzuki, easy to enjoy for anyone, whatever their age. Choose from six colors.

Ready to give
Every piece comes in a paulownia wood (kiri) box, the traditional Japanese gift box. Handmade by traditional craftspeople and presented in wood, Osaka Suzuki tinware is a long-time favorite for birthdays, retirements, weddings and the 10th wedding anniversary (the "tin anniversary").
