About Coffee Kogu

Coffee Kogu (珈琲考具) is a coffee-tool brand from Shimomura Kihan, a housewares company in Tsubame-Sanjo, Niigata — Japan's best-known center of metalworking. The name joins ko (to think) and gu (tool): tools carefully thought through so you can brew better coffee. Many pieces are developed with feedback from professional baristas and make full use of the region's stainless-steel craftsmanship.

Made for carrying the coffee you've carefully brewed. With a 240 ml capacity, it's just the right size for a short outing and slips easily into a bag. It keeps both hot and iced drinks at a pleasant temperature.

Pour straight from your coffee server or brew directly into it with a dripper. The wide mouth makes it easy to add ice cubes, and it's great for tea or water too.

Teflon-coated inside for easy care

The interior is Teflon (fluororesin) coated, so it resists odors and stains, letting you enjoy the delicate flavor and aroma of your drink.

The exterior has a smooth ceramic coating that is durable, scratch-resistant and water-repellent. The bottle, lid and mouthpiece are all dishwasher and dryer safe, and the wide mouth makes washing simple.
