A Long-established Fan Shop in Kyoto

/fan/fun (Fan Fun) is a fan brand created by "Minoya Sempo," a long-established shop founded in 1894. Minoya Sempo has primarily made fans for tea ceremonies. Interestingly, tea ceremony fans actually don't have a fan part. In tea ceremonies, fans are essential tools, but their main purpose seems to be as communication tools. However, with /fan/fun fans, as the name suggests, they're meant to be used as "fans" - please use them to fan yourself plenty.

Enjoying the Act of Fanning

While one of the highlights of tea ceremony fans is their beauty when closed, /fan/fun fans are made for you to thoroughly enjoy using them for fanning. Hence the name fan・fun = fan・enjoy.

For this reason, designs by design unit "niwa" have been incorporated into both the fan surface and case so that the act of fanning becomes visually enjoyable and brightens the mood.

Enjoy looking at it, enjoy fanning with it, and enjoy it even when stored away. All while benefiting from the high-level techniques cultivated over many years by this established shop. It feels like finding a fan you truly want to use.
