A Gift Clock Engraved with Messages and Filled with Wishes

This NENRIN clock is assembled into auspicious patterns, traditional Japanese designs that have long symbolized "good omens and celebratory occasions," utilizing the calming colors and textures of wood that differ from piece to piece. Each pattern contains a wish.

"Ripple" is inspired by the Seigaiha (blue ocean waves) pattern with annual rings repeating like waves, carrying the wish "May peaceful living continue forever."

"Arrow Pattern (Yagasuri)" is inspired by the feathers attached to the upper part of an arrow (also called yahane or yagasuri), carrying wishes for "continuous good fortune in battle" for warriors or for success in life.

"Checkered Pattern (Ichimatsu)" is inspired by the checkered pattern created through the contrast of wood grain, direction, and cuts, and carries wishes for prosperity as it can connect endlessly in all directions—up, down, left, and right.

The meaning of each auspicious pattern is engraved on the back, and you can also have an original message of up to 60 characters (15 characters × 4 lines maximum) laser-engraved.

The mark engraved on the lower right of the back is proof of quality that meets Mimatsu Kogei's unique product standards. A serial number is engraved on all pieces to ensure and manage product quality.
