Acrylic ballpoint pen | Origami - Oonishi Seisakusho -
An Acrylic Ballpoint Pen That Can't Be Made Elsewhere.
Like colorful torn paper art, with fantastical beauty. It shows various expressions depending on the angle and how light hits it.
Acrylic ballpoint pens with delicate and complex color combinations can never be mass-produced. Since they would break without a skilled craftsman's handling, shaping them into ballpoint pens is not easily achieved. This is a masterpiece that can only be created with the highly skilled techniques of Onishi Seisakusho.
Over 65 Years as a Craftsman, What He Arrived At
The creator is Mr. Keizo Onishi, who runs "Onishi Seisakusho," a handmade writing instrument workshop in Higashi-Osaka, a town of manufacturing. Mr. Onishi became a craftsman at the age of 15, and for over 65 years, using specialized processing tools that require skilled techniques and know-how, the machining is done almost entirely by Mr. Onishi's handiwork.
Because of the numerous processes and high technical skill required for production, there are only a few craftsmen in Japan who can do this. Due to the excessive labor involved, Mr. Onishi might be the only one active as a craftsman.
A Ballpoint Pen That Becomes a Lifetime Possession.
A beautiful transparency that seems to speak to you. When you pick it up, this artisan-machined ballpoint pen fits your fingers with a silky touch. The material is lightweight, doesn't tire even with long use, and is highly practical, which is a pleasing feature. The fact that it can be properly used as a writing instrument is a fundamental requirement, which is typical of Mr. Onishi's commitment.
While acrylic processing is extremely difficult, a characteristic is that it barely deteriorates. If there are any issues, Onishi Seisakusho can also provide maintenance. That's why it's a lifetime ballpoint pen that you can cherish forever.
Filled with Japanese Appeal
From its beauty like torn paper art, it's named "Origami." The colorful patterns feel somewhat Japanese, true to its name.
Since all patterns are random, no two are alike. It's a sure choice not only for regular gifts but also for presents to people from overseas. It also accommodates name engraving, making it recommended as a special gift.
