Turn it upside down, and it becomes Mt. Fuji

About Osaka Suzuki
Osaka Suzuki (大阪錫器) was founded in Osaka in 1949 and today produces nearly all of Osaka Naniwa Suzuki (Osaka tinware), a designated Traditional Craft of Japan with more than 300 years of history. Its craftspeople, including nationally certified traditional craftsmen, cast, turn and finish every piece by hand.
1. Japan's timeless good-luck symbol
Mt. Fuji never goes out of fashion, and almost everyone in Japan feels something special for it. Osaka Suzuki's Fuji series brings together the traditional craft of Osaka tinware and Japan's most famous mountain: set the cup upside down and it becomes Mt. Fuji with a snowy peak. Use the guinomi for sake and the tumblers for anything from soft drinks to beer, or display them as a small piece of Japan. A popular gift both in Japan and abroad.

2. Tin makes drinks taste better
Tin conducts heat so well that a cold drink chills the cup right away. Tin is also said to purify water and soften the taste of drinks, which is why sake lovers so often say "tin cups are best." It does not rust, break or deteriorate.

Ready to give
Every piece comes in a paulownia wood (kiri) box, the traditional Japanese gift box. Handmade by traditional craftspeople and presented in wood, Osaka Suzuki tinware is a long-time favorite for birthdays, retirements, weddings and the 10th wedding anniversary (the "tin anniversary").
