◇ Usage Precautions and Maintenance
Heat-resistant ceramics primarily use petalite, a material with a low thermal expansion coefficient. This characteristic prevents breakage due to contraction, even when subjected to stress from heating, cooling, or other stresses on the vessel itself. When handled correctly, it is a convenient material that can be used both as tableware and as a cooking utensil. Please refer to the handling precautions and enjoy the gentle cooking experience offered by earthenware.
Direct flame: ○ Oven/Microwave: ○ Dishwasher: △
Safe for direct flame use. Suitable for both oven and microwave use.
Avoid touching the hot vessel with bare hands. Also, do not place it directly on tables or surfaces after heating.
Do not boil dry. Never use for oil-based cooking like tempura or frying, as it is dangerous.
Due to the soft texture of the unglazed clay, wash separately from metal or hard tableware. Doing so may cause chipping or breakage.
Wash by hand whenever possible. Thoroughly wipe dry with a cloth before storing.
When using after heating, never place directly on tables or surfaces. Always use a trivet or similar heat-resistant surface.
Avoid soaking, as it may cause stains or mold growth.
▪️Important Notes
※Not compatible with IH cooktops.
※For the “White” color, scorch marks may be more noticeable when used over direct flame. If this concerns you, we recommend choosing either ‘Black’ or “Red”.
