When our Japanese Good Things Shop reporter visited the workshop,

They were asked, "Would you like to try making a pattern?" and given the chance.

The hammering, which looked rhythmical and pleasant to watch,

When attempted by an amateur... Well, the results were apparently quite terrible... (laugh)

Placing this vessel on your table brings a touch of elegance, and it steals the spotlight.

Paulownia wood boxes for gifts and favors

"Suzugami" is a product that is often chosen as a gift or wedding favor. We offer wooden paulownia boxes (for an additional fee) in various sizes, so why not include one when giving this as a gift? Our shop also offers Suzugami wedding favor sets. We have 11cm sets and 13cm sets. With our wedding favor sets, the cost of the paulownia box, wrapping, and ceremonial wrapping paper (noshi) is all included, making it easier for you to select. 

■ Maintenance and Precautions

After use, you can wash it just like regular dishes. The color may change slightly as you use it. In such cases, it can be cleaned by gently rubbing with a melamine sponge. While you can freely change its shape, extreme folding or repeatedly bending and stretching at sharp angles may, in some cases, make it difficult to return to its original shape and cause cracks or splits.
