Curved vessel KAGO -Nousaku-
~ The Sound of a Bendable KAGO ~ [Tin Cry]
You've never seen a "basket" like this before. You can freely change its shape by applying pressure with your hands. At first, you'll bend it cautiously. Then it makes a "gee-gee-gee" sound as it changes shape. And you can also return it to its original form with your hands. Initially, you might worry about breaking it, but once you try it, the sensation becomes addictive. This is called "Tin Cry," a phenomenon unique to tin - the sound of tin surfaces rubbing against each other.
Various Uses Depending on Your Ideas
It's metal, yet soft. The "KAGO" series creates various shapes from a flat surface. With its high antibacterial properties, it can be used for food such as fruits, vegetables, and bread, or as a container for accessories and small items. You can also use it in combination with ceramic or glass vases, wine bottles, and more.
The Strength of 100% Tin
What makes this free-form transformation possible is Nousaku's casting technology and the soft nature of tin. Tin products are typically strengthened by mixing tin with other metals. Under conventional thinking, it was believed that tin wouldn't be useful otherwise. However, this bendable vessel KAGO has turned what seemed to be a weakness—tin being particularly soft among metals—into a strength. In Nousaku's KAGO, it's 100% tin. By making it 100% tin, it becomes possible to freely transform it by hand. It's hard to believe this is metal!

Do not place in the freezer as it may cause tin pest (deformation and discoloration of tin).
■ Maintenance
After use, wash with kitchen detergent (neutral) using a soft cloth or sponge, just like other tableware. Do not scrub with hard brushes.
Also, do not polish with cleanser as it is soft and easily scratched.
When the luster becomes dull, it can be restored by polishing with commercially available metal polish, toothpaste, or baking soda.
